PL2303 TA Download Cable USB To TTL RS232 Module USB To Serial
This is the PL2303 TA Download Cable USB to TTL RS232 Module USB to Serial. This cable is the easiest way to connect your microcontroller, Raspberry Pi, or WiFi router serial console port. Inside the USB plug is a USB to Serial conversion chip, and at the end of the 1M cable are four wires – red power, black ground, white RX into the USB port, and green TX out of the USB port.
The power pin provides 5V @ 500mA directly from the USB port, and the RX/TX pins operate at 3.3V levels, making it compatible with most 3.3V logic level chipsets.
Due to its separated pin plugs, this cable is ideal for powering and connecting to the debug/login console on the Raspberry Pi or BeagleBone Black. It's also useful for hacking WiFi routers to install alternate OS’s or nearly any other 3.3V logic serial port. This cable is often easier to use than an FTDI cable due to the separated wires.
Applications:
- Industrial Control
- Upgrading Legacy Peripherals to USB
- Interfacing Microcontroller UART or I/O, FPGA / PLD to USB
- USB Software / Hardware Encryption Dongles
Features:
- Built-in TTL COM PC-PL2303HX chip
- Standard USB type and TTL 4 pin connector
- Simple and easy way to add USB support to your designs
- Compatible with Linux, Mac, WinCE, and Windows (XP, 7, 8)
Package Includes:
1 x USB to Serial TTL Level Converter Cable
